We love bringing people together to make, learn and spend a little time with good things. Our workshops are relaxed, informal and designed to be enjoyed at your own pace, whether you are completely new to a craft or simply looking to try something different.
Workshops take place in our dedicated workshop space on the first floor of our shop. Each session is led by an experienced maker or tutor and is intended to be friendly, hands-on and enjoyable.
What’s included: All workshop prices include the materials you’ll need for the session, along with light refreshments. Everything is provided, so you can simply turn up and enjoy the experience.
Booking your place: Places are limited for each workshop and must be booked in advance. Your place is confirmed once payment has been received.
Please check the workshop details before booking, as individual sessions may have specific requirements or age restrictions.
Accessibility: Our workshop space is located on the first floor and is accessed by stairs. Unfortunately, this means our workshops may not be suitable for those who are unable to use stairs. If you have any questions about accessibility or would like to discuss your requirements before booking, please get in touch and we will be happy to help.
Cancellations: We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your place, please contact us as soon as possible. Where sufficient notice is given, we will do our best to transfer your booking to another workshop or offer a refund, subject to availability.
Unfortunately, places cannot always be refunded or transferred at short notice, as workshop numbers are limited and materials are prepared in advance.
If a workshop has to be cancelled or rearranged by us, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer either a transfer to an alternative date or a full refund.
A few things to know: Please arrive around 10 minutes before your workshop begins, allowing you time to settle in before we start.
Workshops can involve materials, tools, paints, flowers or other substances depending on the session. Full details will be provided with each individual workshop listing.
By booking, you agree to follow the guidance of the workshop tutor and to take reasonable care of yourself, others and the workshop space.
We want our workshops to feel like an extension of what we love at Cook & Butler: thoughtful, welcoming and a little bit special.
