There’s a small ritual to getting the best from a reed diffuser. Done well, it gives a steady, even scent that gently fills a room day after day.
First use: When you first open your diffuser, insert all 10 reeds and let them soak for around 30 to 60 minutes. Then turn them over so the scented oil is drawn into the air from both ends. This helps establish a strong, even scent throw from the start.
Getting the balance right: If you prefer a lighter, more subtle fragrance, you don’t need to use all the reeds at once. Fewer reeds will slow evaporation and extend the life of the diffuser. Using all 10 will give the fullest scent experience and is designed to last around 3 months in a medium-sized room.

Looking after it: If the reeds become saturated and stop diffusing well, replace them. Over time they can clog with dust and oil residue, which reduces performance. Always keep the bottle upright and on a stable surface.
