Stoneware Butter Dish

A simple, two-part butter dish, a softly rounded cloche that sits perfectly over its matching plate. Practical and simple, it keeps butter fresh while bringing a quiet, honest charm to your table.

Shaped by hand in the heart of Buckinghamshire, each piece in our stoneware collection is the work of local potter James Moffat. The glaze, soft and speckled, takes its cue from quail eggshells, quietly textured and gently varied from one piece to the next. The exterior is left unglazed, giving a natural, tactile finish that feels as good in the hand as it looks on the table.

Every item is finished with our Cook & Butler stamp of approval. Dishwasher and microwave safe for everyday ease.
